Manipulative skills — Throwing, catching, kicking, and striking progressions tied to SABIS PE objectives
Health-related fitness concepts — Cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, and muscular strength explained in age-appropriate language
Cooperative and competitive games — Teamwork strategies, rule-following, and fair play assessed through structured SABIS activities

SABIS Elementary PE is more than free play. It assesses specific movement competencies, fitness vocabulary, and cooperative skills through the SABIS Point System®. This section explains what makes PE tutoring different, and what a supported student achieves.
SABIS Elementary Physical Education follows a carefully sequenced curriculum that assesses students on locomotor skills, manipulative skills, and health-related fitness knowledge.
Unlike many school PE programmes, SABIS uses the Point System® to track mastery of specific objectives, such as demonstrating a correct overarm throw, identifying the components of fitness, or applying rules in a cooperative game.
A 1:1 tutor can revisit the exact SABIS PE objective a student has not yet mastered, using targeted practice that a classroom setting cannot always provide.
Key takeaways
Every session is live and 1:1. Your child's tutor works directly from the SABIS PE curriculum for their grade, targeting the exact Point System® objectives they need to master.

Everything parents ask before booking a SABIS Physical Education tutor for Grades 1 to 5.

Matching typically takes under 10 minutes. Once you submit your child's grade and current SABIS PE unit, we identify an available tutor with direct experience of that grade's Point System® objectives.
Sessions start from AED 30 per hour for Grades 1 to 8. There is no enrolment deposit and you can cancel at any time with no hidden fees.
